This unusual creature is called the Ribbon Eel, and it is often found in the water of the Indo-Pacific ocean. This fish enjoys the waters around lagoons and reefs in that area. This creature bears resemblance to mythical depictions of dragons in Chinese culture.

As it turns out, they don’t fill it all the way to the bottom. They just create the impression that there are lots of noodles at the bottom, when, in fact, there aren’t. We didn’t know that!

This is probably something you’d see only in Russia. This looks like an old, beat up, Lada. But, judging by Russian standards, she is still good to go. So, yeah, the roof is a little squashed and so is its entire right side, but if you can fill it with fuel, you can ride it.

Dinosaurs may be long gone, but birds are their distant cousins, and when it comes to birds like the Cassowary, you can kind of see the resemblance. Just look at those terrifying claws! There’s little doubt that a bird that size could mess anyone up.

Honestly, Cassowaries are far scarier than their similar brethren, ostriches and emus. Not that those birds aren’t scary as well, but if we saw something with claws like this coming at us, that would be an entirely different level of terrifying.

It’s not the fact that this is a bat. Lots of people have seen bats (though many people actually haven’t). It’s just that this bat is so massive. Look at that thing! That’s the size we expect eagles and falcons to be, not bats!

Seriously, that’s like, a whole human torso right there. This bat probably isn’t aggressive or violent, but just imagining something like that flying towards us in the night is pretty harrowing. How does something that large even fly in the first place?

Have you ever noticed that you almost never see black rabbits? They always seem to be brown, gray, tan, or something similar. Obviously, though, black rabbits do exist. They are just exceedingly rare. That’s exactly why this would b the first time many people have ever seen one.

But you don’t see them in the wild often, which makes them pretty rare as far as how many people have ever seen one before. We suppose rabbit breeders or owners may not find this too impressive!

Most everyone knows that reptiles shed their skin. But somehow, few people ever actually see that shed skin after it’s made. This is interesting because it’s the facial ‘skin’ of a lizard, almost in perfect condition. It’s like a little mask!
